learned the art of crochet from her Aunt Peggy, at the age of eight.
Several years later, after returning home to Chicago from her first summer in New York

Now owning and operating Judy Parker Hand Knit and Crochet
for ten years, major fashion designers and distributors have retained Judy's needlework
expertise. The first of these was Ralph Lauren Women's Wear for whom she produced crochet
hats for four seasons - spring 1993 through fall 1994.
In recent years, Judy has concentrated on her own designs which have been available at
Olive & Bette's New York boutique and catalog, at Lisbeth & Co. in New York's
Nolita area; and featured in Stephen DiGeronimo's spring 2000 show. In spring of
2000, the designer launched Judyknits.com. |
Judy Parker Hand Knit and
Crochet fashions have been featured in magazines such as Bazaar, Hamptons, InStyle,
Lucky, Mademoiselle, Vogue and Women's Wear Daily.
In January 2002, Judy expanded her company, renaming it Judy Parker Style. Judy Parker
Style is the parent company of Judy Parker Hand Knit and Crochet and a new
beauty product, Svensk Fotfil, an authentic Swedish foot file. For more
