In the 70's, I had a puff-sleeved-tie-at-the-wrist top from the Sears girls' department, but my mom had a gorgeous designer dress with those sleeves. They were so kool but they weren't knit!

Our  hand-knit version is the Peasant Blouse. This cozy, oversized, dropped shoulder top is hand knit with crochet edging at the neck, in my favorite otton/rayon yarn. The ties at the wrist and waist are my signature braids and are crocheted on to make them drawstrings. Makes a great cover up for our Crochet Cropped Tank and Thong Bikini.   First offered in my Autumn 2000 collection, the Peasant Blouse and Peasant Dress have become true classics year round.
